Just weeks before Thanksgiving, join artist and biological illustrator Xavier Moss at the Orlando Museum of Art to explore the strange natural history of the wild turkey—and the famous story of Benjamin Franklin preferring it to the bald eagle. From iridescent feathers and bizarre snoods to gobbles, courtship displays, and a remarkable comeback from near disappearance, discover why there’s much more to this familiar bird than what lands on the dinner table. Then, imagine an alternate America where the turkey became the ultimate symbol of freedom, by creating your own turkey-inspired national artwork.  Future Membe
